Raw Maca Extreme
This is guaranteed to be the most powerful and potent form of Maca on the market. Period. Our standard Maca (which is quite potent already) is made by first sundrying the roots and then grinding these roots at a low temperature. During this drying and grinding process, some of the active components are inevitably lost. In Maca Extract Extreme, the process is enhanced. First, the roots are washed with pure water and then juiced. Afterwards, the juice is low-temperature dried in a proprietary process that retains nearly all of the actives present in the fresh root. And since it is a low temperature process the enzymes are also retained as well. Once it is dried, the powder is sifted so only the finest particles make it through into the final product. The levels of Glucosinolates, Sterols and Macamides are higher than any product we've ever come across and often 5-10 times higher!
Maca is a perennial that grows between 13,000 and 14,500 feet above sea level in the high Andean plateaus of Peru. Its tuberous roots resemble those of its relative the radish. To Andean Indians, maca is a highly valuable commodity. The sweet, spicy dried root is considered a delicacy.
It is rich in calcium, magnesium, phosphorous and iron, and contains trace minerals, including zinc, iodine, copper, selenium, bismuth, manganese and silica, as well as B vitamins.
